While solving the fuel tank dilemma, we've taken steps to make installation and service easy on this fuel tank. We used adapters and tubes to bring the connections to front of the tank and made a wiring disconnect so the tank could be easily removed if need be.

Solved: We cut out the fuel tank braces and welded in new braces backwards, moving the tank back 2 inches. This will give us the clearance to the IRS and still allow us to fit a filler neck on the fuel tank.

The condenser, drier and some accessories are installed.

The underdash air conditioning unit is installed and the engine wiring is run through the firewall.

The dash is installed yet again to check clearances and to find a suitable location for the computer, relays and other modules.

The dash is cut away and modified to facilitate the installation of the Covan's Classic cluster with Autometer gauges.

The PCM and TAC module will reside where the stereo used to live.

The intake manifold and engine wiring are installed. This harness is a prime example of caution when purchasing conversion parts. It was furnished to us for 'plug and play' installation yet has required more than 8 hours of modifications.
