The frame is rolled back into the main shop for disassembly. There is some serious cleanup work to be done. Meanwhile- back in the Bat Cave, the artisans are hard at work on the body. This quarter panel had taken some light dings, so studs are welded and it is pulled back level. Spike happily scrapes undercoating from the frame. Have you ever changed a suspension part and thought "This darn undercoating makes removing the idler arm difficult?" Multiply that by EVERYTHING! We found the fuel and brake lines underneath the undercoating. Note the can of Penetrating Blast. We'll use lots of that. On an occasion or two, Jack Daniels must have driven the car around. The continental kit had been backed into something, changing the proportions of the rear of the car. Both tail lamp mountings had to be cut free, pulled out and re-welded. A flush fit is guaranteed now. The lead joints are welded and ground smooth so we won't have to load them with filler. The rear end is scraped clean for disassembly.
