A better view of the wrinkles. The rest of the door is fairly straight. A new patch is welded into the door skin. The fiberglass is starting to crack inside of the removable hard top, so we're laying some fresh fiberglass mat to repair the condition. Some more old body work, this spot was filled with bondo. We'll use the hammer and dolly with some heating and cooling to straighten it out. How about the lead around the fuel filler and trunk lock cylinder? You don't see 50 year old sheet metal looking as good as the driver's door very often. The right front of the car had also been pushed in. More on that in a moment.
