An Optima Gel Cell battery is mounted to the inside of the trunk and cables are run to the front of the car.

The convertible top frame is installed.

The radiator is set in place so the steam lines and transmission cooler lines can be made. Both sets of these lines are tucked securely into the front frame rails.
