The rear seat pans and well structure. Note that all parts of the structure are painted. Almost 40 man-hours of color sanding has leveled the clearcoat on the car. We start with 1500 grit, then move on to 2000 for a perfectly smooth finish. The buffing begins. This is where our hard work will finally pay off and we'll get to see the car smooth and straight! Next we reinstalled the LS2 engine, having previously mocked up the placement and fabricated mount adapters. A quick look at the underside with the engine and transmission installed. Then we installed the inner fenders. This is always lots of fun, especially when all parts are painted. Get out the kid gloves! Check out the reflection of the motor in the firewall!
