| 1972 Chevrolet Pickup Red and Pewter- This customer brought us the beautiful truck seen below. The outside of the truck was gorgeous, but the underhood was very stock. We removed the engine, transmission and front clip to give it a more fitting appearance. We also installed an under-dash air conditioning system and four wheel disc brakes to round out the package. |
  This is the factory underhood appearance. It was clean but very original. It did not match the rest of the truck in quality.   Nothing starts a great project like a pile of parts!  The engine is removed and markings are placed on the firewall.   The firewall is smoothed. The a/c will be moved behind the dash and we will re-route the wiring to be more hidden.  Then we custom made a new front lamp harness to hide the wires to the front lamps, horns and cooling fans. We also smoothed the core support for a better look.   |
