1970 Pontiac GTO Convertible
 Body work continues on the right side quarter panel. This is going to be very smooth when finished!  The body is coated with high-build primer and the decklid is fitted again. We want to retain the gaps we have worked so hard to achieve.  Check out the debacle with the left fender. Our only options were a poor quality replacement fender or sourcing a good used original. We could only find a LeMans fender, so the front portion of the GTO fender had to be grafted onto the LeMans donor, as well as patches to the bottom of the fender due to the rust.  The front bumper is installed and removed repeatedly while we build the fender.  We're left with just what we wanted: a fender that is all steel and fits PERFECTLY!  How about the hood gap now?
