Per the customer's direction, the rear spoiler is to have an extension. We removed some of the original material and built the extension out of fiberglass. The rear spoiler reshaped and covered in a gelcoat primer. Because of the center exhaust exit, the fuel tank is going to have to be moved. We're having Rick's Hot Rods build us a custom stainless steel tank to go in the trunk. We'll have to fill it from the quarter panel. A location is selected and cut out. Because everything else on this car has a flush fit, the fuel filler can be no exception. Here we build an inset in which the filler door can be mounted flush. The rough form.
