The reproduction tie rods are not concours correct. The originals are in good shape but will require refinishing. Here is an original yellow inspection mark, done 53 years ago as it went down the line. It will make a return. The hood support bracket is installed. We've started installing the headlamp springs and retainers. Is anyone hiding 12V 1956 FoMoCo sealed beams they'd like to sell? THe heater case has been refinished to look original. Taillamps and reverse lamps are installed. Tim makes some last adjustments to get the frame ready. Installing the power steering fluid hoses. Now the heater case is attached to the firewall as is the firewall pad (inside) and the steering column seal and starter relay. Control arm seals are stapled to their frames and installed. Ed begins taping the shims to the frame in the factory manner. We've had the shims replated the correct finish and have already marked the shim amount at each of the body mount locations.
