1956 Ford Thunderbird
| Factory correct restoration |
We know we're going to be in bad shape with the bumpers. They've been hit too many times to be straight. We'll start checking now. The air tube hanging in the paint booth, repainted and ready for installation. How about the date code inside of the heater box? The rear bumper. This is going to be a nightmare. It's been hit more times than Mike Tyson. It bears the welding scars to prove it. A split in the center is repaired. The column must be disassembled and rechromed. The factory brake booster. It will need to be overhauled. Can you believe how many parts live inside that contraption? Cleaned, rebuilt and ready for paint! The master cylinder needs got the natural-cast powdercoat as well. Finished! No stone can be left unturned. This is a power seat motor and regulator. The regulator is very dull appearing and needs to be replated. Who could know there are this many parts in there?
